China and Russia Will Carry Out Pragmatic Cooperation in Shipbuilding And Other Fields

On March 22, Xinhua News Agency officially issued the "Joint Statement of the People's Republic of China and the Russian Federation on Deepening the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership in the New Era" (referred to as the Joint Statement).According to the joint statement, China and Russia proposed that they will continue to carry out pragmatic cooperation in shipbuilding and other fields, and continue to strengthen cooperation in related fields such as marine equipment research and development and other cooperation related to the shipbuilding industry.

China and Russia will continue to carry out practical cooperation in civil aviation manufacturing, automobile manufacturing, shipbuilding, metallurgy and other areas of common interest.

China and Russia will continue to strengthen cooperation in the fields of marine scientific research, marine ecological protection, marine disaster prevention and mitigation, and marine equipment research and development, and continue to deepen practical cooperation in polar scientific research, environmental protection, and the organization of scientific expeditions, so as to contribute more public products to global ocean governance.
