Specialized Launched A New Type of 3D Printing Cushion, Power Pro, using Titanium Rails

The two well-known bicycle brands, Specialized and Fizik are both fond of 3d printing, and have released multiple 3D printing cushions one by one.

Not long ago, Fizik released its second road bike 3D printed seat cushion Argo Pro, and now Specialized has also launched a new 3D printed seat cushion Power Pro, which is the third product after S-Work Force Mirror and S-Work Lightning from the seat cushion EVO cushion.

The electric Pro is still manufactured using Carbon's digital photosynthesis (L) 3D printing technology. The liner uses 3D printing of a complex honeycomb structure, which can better control the density of the liner and provide more support and comfort than traditional foams.

The biggest difference in this new product also includes the use of titanium rails instead of carbon, which is now stronger, so it is suitable for road, mountain bike and gravel riding.

According to Specialized, the base of the electric Pro is manufactured using a new recycled carbon process, which combines carbon waste with injected nylon to form 15% recycled carbon fiber. And claimed that this is the first step towards creating more sustainable products and closed-loop production.

The dedicated electric Pro is available in two widths of 143 mm and 155 mm, priced at USD$325/RMB¥2131, and it is currently available online on Specialized's official website.
